If we're here for truth and reconciliation, does every person need a place to tell their story--including rich guys? Do each of us need ability and place to respond when we're moved to respond??
I don’t know. Agree with most of what he says, but I’m getting pretty tired of rich guys flying around the world telling us don’t do what I did. Worse, of course, when they say you can’t do what I’m doing.
Maybe cut Gerry some slack. I've met him and he is a kind and down to earth guy. And he's no longer flying around the world. He's writing and trying to warn us about the world he saw from the inside. And he's done great reporting on Millan Millan.
Thanks for running this, Katie. I think Gerry's insights about the tech bro culture and personality is really important. It's the worst kind of macho. No actually physical prowess required, just ego and greed and self-inflation. And it's having a disastrous effect on a whole generation of young men.
