Springsteen’s song calls for justice, yet with his mentions of "land" and "our Minneapolis" and "black and brown", sadly overlooks the People whose land it actually is and incidentally the origin city of AIM (American Indian Movement) in 1968.

Yes and Springstein mentions by name the two white people killed by ICE but not the thousands of Black and brown people disappeared, or the many who have died in detention centres.

Good add. The song seems meant to address the understandably specific outrage at the killings, yet along with that immediate volatility are other serious angles including the money going to more detention centers.
